Once a group registers and receives confirmation from Kati, they will fill out a registration form, receive a total estimate as well as a 10% invoice, and then have 2 weeks from the registration date to send a non-refundable deposit by check or money order to:
Sunrock Foundation
723 E 110 N
Heber City, UT 84032
The non-refundable deposit will be 10% of your total registration, with 50% due by February 1, 2026, and the remaining balance due by May 1, 2026. (Once a payment is made it is non-refundable.)
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT NUMBERS & PAYMENT Each group will have the opportunity to adjust their initial estimated numbers in April. This will give each group the first part of the year to receive more solid commitments from youth and leaders. * Each group will only be allowed to lower their numbers to 85% of what their initial estimate was. (For example, if a group registered 100 guests in October, that group will only be able to lower their numbers to 85 in April in preparation for their final bill, regardless of how few their actual numbers end up being at camp.) Please be aware that because the large majority of our registration happens in the fall, we are not able to recoup lost registration for groups that booked large numbers and then bring much fewer campers. This is mostly because youth groups typically book their camps in the fall, so if we find out in April that a group that booked 300, only has 200 committed to attending, we can’t find other groups to fill those spots so late in the year. We highly recommend that your initial estimated number be as accurate as possible to avoid overpaying. Because of extensive operational costs and work that goes into programming and schedules, we will not be able to refund groups for fewer attendees than the group paid for. However, because of our extensive costs as well as fees we pay to the Forest Service for every person who attends camp, we will bill you for any extra campers you bring to Sunrock after you attend camp.
CAMPSITES
Sunrock High Adventure Base has both tent sites as well as Historic Adirondack sites (3-sided bunk houses). We will do our best to honor your group’s request for specific campsites, but it is not guaranteed.

MISC INFORMATION
The old Camp Steiner never did have the facilities to provide food options for their guests, only for their staff. We hope to change that in the future, but for now all groups will need to bring and prepare all of their own food.
There are 2 separate shower houses with warm water, one for adults, and one for youth. You will be assigned 2 times your group can use the showers during your stay based upon the needs of all campers.
We will have potable water and portable toilets throughout camp.
We hope this information helps in your planning. Feel free to reach out if you have further questions.
